BACHATA CLASSES NEW PROGRAM 2017
*** ATTENTION ALL BACHATEROS ***
LDA is glad to announce that Monday 30th January will be the official start of the NEW LDA BACHATA PROGRAM developed by Nestor Manuelian and Katrina Quintal.
This program will be pointing towards making Sydney's Bachata students the best that they can be and most knowledgeable in the Industry.
This change is aimed at bringing through the next generation of Australia's most versatile Bachateros.
With the SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL BACHATA FESTIVAL only 4 months away, now is the time make BACHATA priority!
This is what we are doing for 2017.
** NEW MONDAY NIGHTS **
This night will be aimed and working on the technical aspects of how to make our dancers the best all round dancers in the Industry.
With our Directors and Bachata Pioneers Nestor Manuelian and Katrina Quintal as well as Rebecca Vallejo and New TRAINEE Amir Joshan, The team will be aimed at making sure all aspects of BACHATA DANCE and MUSIC is covered not with the usual turn patterns but by working with drills.
The Timetable will look like this.
*** MONDAY - ALL OPEN LEVELS ( FOCUS ON TECHNIQUE) ***
6.30pm: DOMINICAN BACHATA FOOTWORK/SHINES - Nestor and Katrina
This course will be SHINES and DOMINICAN PARTNERWORK based, to make sure that our dancers are able to have the ability to do footwork when they want, how they want.
Improving footwork also will allow for better musicality, coordination, balance and understanding of how and why we move our body the way we do in Bachata.
Understanding of Bachata different rhythms and how to use them so you can get confident on your feet.
GETTING SOME AUTHENTICITY INTO YOUR STEP
7.30pm: BACHATA SENSUAL LEADS AN FOLLOW TECHNIQUE - Katrina and Amir
This course will focus on learning not just how to do moves but also how make them feel good.
Isolations, body rolls, head rolls, dips and many other aspects of the BACHATA SENSUAL STYLE will be the focus.
Drills on body movement when dancing solo or in partnerwork is also a major aspect of this course.
8.30pm: BACHATA FREESTYLING TECHNIQUE - Nestor and Rebecca
This course will involve alot of dancing and we will be working on the how, what and whys of social dancing.
We will be working on teaching when and where to use your newly aquired skills through our classes.
Lead and Follow through styles of Bachata as well connection and freestyling

9.30pm: BACHATA MONDAYS PARTY – SYDNEY'S FIRST 100% Bachata ONLY PARTY.

*** WEDNESDAY IS SYLLABUS AND PATTERNS NIGHT ***
On Wednesdays we will focus on teaching people how to dance Bachata by having 6 levels of learning from the finest in the industry.
We will also be putting all of Mondays Technique training into practical patterns and moves for you to increase your repertoire.
With teachers like Katrina Quintal, Rebecca Vallejo, Kylie Clark Refalo (Nestors Apprentice 2017), Artia Zandian and Nestor Manuelian, you will have an amazing time.
Learn by having fun is what makes LDA so different and Unique.
Here is the Timetable below:
6.30pm: Bachata level 1 and Bachata level 4
7.30pm: Bachata level 2 and Bachata level 5
8.30pm: Bachata level 3 and Bachata level 6
As you can see a lot of thought has been put into how to improve Bachata at LDA and also the Australian Scene.
LDA has always led by example and this is hopefully is the start of many schools to eventually follow suit.
We believe that its our responsibility make it possible for you to maximise your learning and therefore we believe this will facilitate the best way to do that.
