Professional:  International Performer, Instructor and Choreographer

Sandra’s love for performing has also encompassed an ardent love for dance. Sandra’s twin sister convinced her to take up salsa lessons for the first time and within four months she was awarded ‘Best New Talent’ at LDA.

The Performer

The stage is where Sandra enjoys most!!  Sandra joined the LDA professional team in 2004. She lights up the stage with her infectious smile and sharp captivating performances.
With a passion for dance, she loves to perform and teach classes in Salsa, Samba and Bachata.

As a performer for the ‘LDA Professional Team’ and the ‘Brazilian shows’ Sandra has travelled on both a national and international level for Salsa and Samba.
Places of travel include: New Zealand, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Korea, Hong Kong, Brazil and all over Australia.

The Choreographer

Sandra loves the challenges of choreographing and it gives her a buzz seeing the end result.  Sandra has choreographed a variety of routines over the years, including the LDA Professional Samba team choreography debuting it at the Sydney Salsa Congress which the team also took to the Korea to compete against some of the best international teams around the world and placed 9th overall.

The Person

With her bubbly and fun loving attitude, Sandra enjoys dancing a variety of different styles and loves mixing it up.  She is always ready to take on a new challenge and always searching for new and fresh ideas. She loves working with her students and her fellow colleagues in the Pro team and loves taking time out when she can for Yoga and the beach (with the volleyball ofcourse!!!)
