Rebecca Barsenbach

The Performer

Rebecca started samba with LDA in March 2008 under the instruction of world-renown sambista, Amy Mills. In Sep 2008, Rebecca was awarded Best Intermediate Samba at the 2008 LDA Ball and was also selected to join the LDA Samba Pro Team. Her first Samba Pro Team appearance was at the Gangnam International Dance Festival held in Seoul, Korea in October 2008 where the team placed 4th in a technical category of 38 teams.

You would never guess that this sambista is an in-the-closet nerd, holding degrees in medical science and economics! When not shaking it for LDA, Rebecca loves to travel, spend quality time with friends and eat lots of junk food!
