The Instructor

An amazing instructor, recognised for her intricate eye on technique, Lidia thrives on seeing her students develop through Salsa dancing into something which is not just a dance style but instead an amazing social community.
Lidia has had the privilege of teaching and performing all over Australia and in many countries around the world like, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and many others.
Bachata is another of Lidia’s many talents and as one of the pioneers in this style, Lidia has also taught Bachata in many cities around Australia and the world selling hundreds of her Bachata DVD's worldwide.

For the past 5 years Lidia has graced many stages around the world including places like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Puerto Rico, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and all over Australia!

Competing at some of the best international competitions like the Puerto Rico Salsa Open, Mayan World Salsa Open, ESPN World Salsa Championships, Asian Salsa Open, Australian Salsa Classic, Lidia has won an incredible 5 National titles and one international title!
A testament that her incredible presence on stage is one to surely be inspired by!

The Coach/Choreographer

Lidia’s amazing eye for Choreography has seen her develop two of the best teams that Australia has had to date, Modus Vivendi Pro team and the Modus Vivendi Project (Advanced team).
Her world class choreographies have also given her the honour of been chosen as one of the top choreographers in Australia to be amongst a select few to be showcased at the Inaugural Australian Dance Festival.
Lidia’s skills have also given her the opportunity to feature in an episode of  TVS's 'Latin Dance Alive' where she introduced Bachata to Australia.
Lidia’s Modus Vivendi/LDA teams are the only teams to have represented Australia at any World Championship in the world.
Lidia won the right by winning 5 National Titles and one International title, to compete at some of the best international competitions like the Puerto Rico Salsa Open, Mayan World Salsa Open, ESPN World Salsa Championships and the Asian Salsa Open (which she won in 2007).
She is also one of the people responsible for the creation and success of the 'Sydney International Bachata Festival'.

The Person

Russian born Lidia, is one of the most recognised faces in the Australian Salsa Scene and is renowned for her fun and Cheeky attitude on the dance floor.
Having the opportunity to learn from the best Salsa instructors in the world, Lidia has developed her own unique expression and style when dancing, making her one of the hottest Australian dancers to hit our scene.
Such is her talent, that all the major schools in Australia have taken on the opportunity to work with her in some way over the last 5 years, leading her to become director of the two most recognised companies in the Australian Salsa Scene, Latin Dance Australia, Modus Vivendi and of the Internationally acclaimed Sydney International Bachata Festival.

"Live it, breathe it, and consider it a way of life!" is her motto and approach to Latin dance.
